QREC/KASTEC Entrepreneurship Seminar was held at Ohashi Satellite- Lunette on November 15, 2014.
During this year, we invited Assoc.Prof. Hiroya Tanaka from Keio University, who is also the first promoter of Fablabs in Japan, Mr. Kazuhisa Terasaki who lives in the U.S., a regular attendant of Maker Faire in the U.S. and Mr. Hiroshi Tamura from Re:public who promotes innovation by citizens, commissioned by Fukuoka City. They had presentations on what does the revolutionary use of digital technology for innovation offer us and how does it or can it change individuals, corporations or communities.
After their talk, there was some time for a panel discussion. The participants and presenters had an enthusiastic discussion about the use of digital technology for innovation in the U.S. and Japan.
There were a lot of tips for this development during the discussion such as how is digital technology going to be changed, how can you become a pioneer for those changes in the future, finding something different from other people, and using your imagination without competing with others.
