What is PARKS?

It is a platform established with the aim of continuously creating ventures that are customer-oriented and capable of realizing industry changes that should be located in the Kyushu-Okinawa region, which is the window to Asia.

With Fukuoka City and Kitakyushu City selected as model cities for the startup ecosystem, and in close collaboration with the Kyushu University Venture Promotion Council, PARKS will implement a comprehensive approach from entrepreneurship education to entrepreneurship support, with the goal of establishing PARKS Inter-University by the end of FY2026.

Our symposium will provide a good opportunity for entrepreneurship researchers and educators from all over the world to gather at Kyushu University and form a network to build, future collaborations. Our symposium will also serve as a platform to discuss major challenges and advances in entrepreneurship education. We are delighted to announce that the Robert T. Huang Entrepreneurship Center of Kyushu University (hereafter referred to as QREC) will be hosting the 1st International Symposium on Entrepreneurship Education in Asia. QREC has initiated a 7-year research project that encompasses various aspects of entrepreneurship education and pedagogical methods, including teaching methodologies. Through this project, we are launching the international symposium on entrepreneurship education.

Our conference aspires to bring together entrepreneurship researchers and educators from Asia, serving as a continuous platform for future collaborations and exchanges on the major challenges and advances in entrepreneurship education. Together, we will explore innovative methodologies, best practices, and novel ways of teaching entrepreneurship. This symposium is generously funded by a donation from Mr. Shuhei Morofuji.

Our conference aspires to bring together entrepreneurship researchers and educators from Asia, serving as a continuous platform for future collaborations and exchanges on the major challenges and advances in entrepreneurship education. Together, we will explore innovative methodologies, best practices, and novel ways of teaching entrepreneurship. What is PARKS?

 In response to the “Support for the Formation of a Startup Ecosystem Promoting Universities and Ecosystems” by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST),
the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) has selected Kyushu and Okinawa as the site of a new startup ecosystem.
The aim of the project is to create a startup ecosystem that connects all of Kyushu and Okinawa with Asia.
The 15 universities in Kyushu and Okinawa and FFG Venture Business Partners (FVP) have formed the Platform for All Regions of Kyushu & Okinawa
to create a startup ecosystem that connects to Asia.
Platform for All Regions of Kyushu & Okinawa for Startup-ecosystem (PARKS) was established!
