The judging session for Idea Battle 1st 2022 was held on Saturday, May 28 at the “ToP” on the 7th floor of Center 5, Ito Campus.
Ten teams made one-minute elevator pitches in front of six judges, followed by an 8-minute Q&A session.
After a rigorous review process, 10 projects were selected.
Students belonging to the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Agriculture, the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation, the Faculty of Letters, and Graduate School of Information Science and Technology were selected.

The selected teams will receive up to 100,000 yen in funding to realize their plans.

Idea Battle is a program in which QREC supports students’ unique ideas.
Over the next three to four months, the students will conduct field research and refine their ideas, ultimately developing a solid business plan.
The students will run through to the Results Briefing scheduled to be held in October and the preparation of a report on the results.
