Open Recruitment for Visiting Associate Professor, Robert T. Huang Entrepreneurship Center of Kyushu University<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Robert T. Huang Entrepreneurship Center of Kyushu University (QREC) is currently seeking a visiting associate professor. Details are as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u30fcDetails\u30fc<\/p>\n

1. \u00a0\u00a0Position available:
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/strong>One visiting associate professor (corresponding to an associate professor position)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2. \u00a0\u00a0Responsibilities:
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/strong>\u30fbEducation and research on entrepreneurship
\n\u30fbGeneral duties pertaining to QREC operations
\n\u30fbCollaborative tasks with international and national industry-academia-government organizations<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3. \u00a0 Required qualifications:
\n<\/strong><\/span>(1) A doctor\u2019s degree, or equivalent academic knowledge and practical experience (an MBA degree at least is desirable.)
\n(2) Educational and research experience in entrepreneurship or business administration at a university (including part-time positions)
\n(3) English language skills. The successful candidate will be engaged in correspondence with overseas organizations. Practical experience in the business community is desirable.
\n\u3000*It would be preferable if non-Japanese native speaking applicants have commanding Japanese skills required in educational profession.
\n(4) We are seeking a talented individual with superior interpersonal skills who has a passion for developing human resources, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a global perspective. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4. \u00a0 Employment period:<\/strong><\/span>
\nFrom April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020. This period is renewed after one academic year, with a limit of three years in total. (Renewal of the employment contract is decided at the end of the academic year, and is based on performance evaluations.)<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5. \u00a0 Employment conditions:
\n<\/strong><\/span>The successful candidate will be hired in accordance with Visiting Faculty Member Regulations and General Regulations for Employment of Fixed Term Faculty Members of Kyushu University. The compensation (daily pay) will be decided in accordance with the Compensation Regulations of Faculty Members, considering the candidate\u2019s qualification including academic career, experience and career history.
\nThe compensation for actual working days will be paid on the 21st of the following month.
\n(No commuting expenses or bonuses are provided.)
\nOur benefit package includes health insurance, employees\u2019 pension, employment insurance and workplace injury insurance. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n9:00 \u2013 17:45 (60-minute break) Five working days per week
\nNo work on Saturdays, Sundays or national holidays.
