Call for Participants\uff1aDesign Thinking Workshop presented by Stanford University d.shool lecturers<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

WASEDA-EDGE Global Talent Development Program welcomes d.school lecturers<\/span>
\nfrom Stanford University to hold a 2 day idea creating workshop, utilizing\u00a0design thinking* methodology.<\/span><\/p>\n

d.school* aims to create an educational experience that helps people unlock\u00a0their creative possibilities and adapt to the world. It is renowned as a\u00a0global base for the transmission of design thinking that influences\u00a0innovation not only in Silicon Valley but in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is an invaluable opportunity to learn from the headquarter of design\u00a0thinking, while being in Waseda.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25c6In the workshop, participants will learn mainly the basics of design\u00a0thinking practically. <\/span>
\nNo previous knowledge on design thinking is required\u00a0<\/span>to attend.
\n<\/span>\u25c6All lectures are held in English (English proficiency standard: over TOEIC\u00a0<\/span>750 score)
\n\u25c6This is a participatory workshop** where participants work\u00a0<\/span>on projects in preassigned groups.
\n<\/span>\u25c6Only participants who can attend the entire program are eligible to apply.<\/p>\n

\u25a0Lecturers<\/strong>
\n<\/span>Scott Witthoft<\/strong><\/span>
\n<\/span>Professional space and product designer; former Fellow and current lecturer\u00a0<\/span>at the Stanford University d.school.
\nScott is author of the book &ldquo ;Make\u00a0<\/span>Space,&rdquo ; a tool for designing collaborative spaces. <\/span>He has a\u00a0<\/span>professional background in structural engineering.
\n<\/span>
\nDavid Janka<\/strong><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span>Design consultant and creative strategist; former Fellow and current\u00a0<\/span>lecturer at the Stanford University d.school. David has a medical degree\u00a0<\/span>from Stanford and works to integrate design thinking principles into medical\u00a0<\/span>education, healthcare delivery, and medical device design.<\/p>\n
