Courses that can be taken for credit as regular courses and are offered or recommended by QREC<\/span>, and can be taken as a minor by students throughout the university. Students from all faculties and grades can take these courses together, which are different from the core education and specialized courses. QREC’s<\/span> educational program aims to “encourage all Kyushu University students to think and act with entrepreneurship<\/a>,” and is characterized by its many student-participatory classes that are conducted not only through classroom lectures but also through workshops. There are two types of course registration periods: one for courses that follow the KIKAN education<\/a> schedule, and another for courses with rolling admissions. You can register for courses via Campusmate-J, Moodle, or the QREC website. For courses subject to the deadlines set by the Office of KIKAN education, please submit a request directly to the Office of General Education using the designated method during the course modification or withdrawal period. (This applies only to elective courses or required elective courses.)
\nFor intensive courses that accept applications on a rolling basis, please submit a withdrawal request during the withdrawal period designated by QREC prior to the start of the course. (Withdrawals will not be accepted after the withdrawal period has ended.)

Among the QREC courses, there are 10 courses offered as Graduate School Core Education Courses and Development Courses each year. <\/p>\n

For details, please refer to the list of Graduate School Core Courses (List of Courses)<\/a>. <\/p>\n

For the handling of credits, please refer to ” Graduate School Core Education Courses (Handling of Credits).<\/a><\/p>\n

Other QREC courses (Comprehensive Courses and Advanced Core Courses) can also be taken, but they are not included in the credits for graduation requirements. Projects that have received funding from Change & Creation (C&C), Kyusoukai, or other sources are not eligible to apply for the Idea Challenge (I.C).
However, we welcome submissions of ideas that were submitted but not selected. Please note that thesis topics (undergraduate, master\u2019s, or doctoral) are not eligible for consideration in the Idea Challenge (I.C).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\tIs it possible to apply for S.I.P. as a team with other university students and working adults?<\/summary>\n\t\t\t\t\t

The main body of the project must be solely the students of Kyushu University. On top of that, participation of other university students and working adults is acceptable as long as they do not exceed the majority of the team members.<\/p>\n

However, use of the budget is limited to students of Kyushu University. (It cannot be used to cover travel expenses for students from other universities or working professionals; however, it may be used to purchase items for shared use.)<\/p>\n

Regarding the use of facilities, QREC facilities may not be used by outside members only. It is acceptable to use the facilities if you are with a Kyushu University student. Registration is required when using the facilities. Please follow the prescribed procedures.<\/p>\n

QREC’s workshop is available to a limited number of eligible students, including QREC project-adopted students, QREC subject students, and QREC Premium Members. Please check the individual facility pages for the eligible users of QREC facilities. Even if you do not qualify as an eligible user, the QREC Center Director may grant usage privileges to students or student groups. Please download the file below, fill it out, and submit it. Please note that the process\u2014which includes a review of your application materials, a consultation with a QREC faculty member, and a meeting for approval\u2014takes approximately one month.<\/p>\n
