For this reason, some QREC courses are assigned to more than one subject type, such as &#8220;Comprehensive Courses&#8221; and &#8220;Graduate School Core Education Courses (Development Courses).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If you take &#8220;General Courses&#8221; or &#8220;Advanced Courses&#8221; as an undergraduate student, and after entering graduate school, you take the same courses as &#8220;Graduate School Core Courses (Development Courses)&#8221; or &#8220;Courses offered by QBS,&#8221; you can earn credits at both the undergraduate and graduate schools (however, credit accreditation is subject to the regulations of each undergraduate and graduate school), (However, the credit accreditation is subject to the regulations of each faculty and graduate school.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"is-style-asterisk-red\"><strong>Note, however, that it only counts as one course for the QREC &#8220;Certificate of Completion&#8221; requirement.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-link\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/qrec.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/en\/lecture\/certificate-of-completion\/\">Certificate of Completion<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:55px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-gray-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignfull p-steps__accordion\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<details class=\"wp-block-qrec-accordion p-faq__item js-details p-steps__accordion-item\"><summary class=\"c-heading--lv4-question js-summary p-steps__accordion-title\"><strong>For Undergraduate Students<\/strong><\/summary><div class=\"p-faq__answer-wrapper js-content\"><div class=\"p-faq__answer p-steps__accordion-content\">\n<p>The subject groups offered by QREC are categorized as follows<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Comprehensive subjects (open subjects\/frontier subjects)<\/strong><br>For details, please refer to the &#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artsci.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/campus_life\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Core Education Course Outline<\/a> &#8220;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Senior Core Courses<\/strong><br>Upper-division core education courses are offered to students in their sophomore year and above.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Courses for which credit is granted by other faculties (recommended)<\/strong><br>Some faculties recognize (and recommend) QREC courses as major education courses for the faculty concerned.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> Please keep in mind when registering for courses that the same course may have a different name depending on its classification.<br>Especially for courses approved for credit (recommended) by other faculties, please make sure not to make a mistake as to whether you wish to register as a general course or as a major education course. (In principle, changes cannot be made after registration is completed.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Some of the core education courses require advance application (by lottery) before the start of the term in order to enroll, and some QREC courses are also subject to the lottery. The deadline for advance application, announcement of lottery results, and other details will be notified separately via the student portal system (Campusmate-J).<br>Please note that QREC may notify you of notices for some QREC courses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> There are two main registration methods. Please note that you will not be able to check the Student Portal System immediately after registration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/details>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:80px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"steps-flow\">Course Flow<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registration Procedures for Core Courses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-qrec-steps p-steps-flow__list-item\"><h4 class=\"p-steps-flow__list-title\"><span class=\"p-steps-flow__timing\">Before the start of the semester<\/span><span class=\"p-steps-flow__list-name\">Course Planning<\/span><\/h4><div class=\"p-steps-flow__list-content\">\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check the number of credits required for each.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the timetable for course offerings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check whether or not to apply in advance and what precautions to take.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the announcements on the student portal system (Campusmate-J) and the QREC website for course registration periods and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understand the course content in advance with the syllabus.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"is-style-asterisk-red\"><strong>Course registration outside the period is not allowed.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-green-border\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-green-circle\">Advance application (by lottery)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Some courses require advance application for enrollment.<br>If a large number of applicants are selected by lottery and the course is &#8220;not approved,&#8221; Be sure to check the QREC website and instructions from Academic Affairs.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"steps-register\">Course Registration\/Cancellation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-bg-pink\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-red-circle\">Points to note when registering for courses<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"is-style-asterisk\"><strong>In the case that there are classes with overlapping timetables, even if students are able to register for them through the Student Portal System, they will not be able to register for the overlapping courses in principle. (Credit cannot be granted for duplicated courses.)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is-style-asterisk\"><strong>If the Intensive Course conflicts with a course you are taking, you cannot take the Intensive Course. However, it is possible to audit other courses with the permission of the instructor.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is-style-asterisk-red\"><strong>It will take some time until the courses you have registered for on the QREC website are reflected in the student portal system (Campusmate-J). Please note that you will not be able to confirm your course registration on the student portal system immediately after registration.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is-style-asterisk\"><strong>Class dates and locations are subject to change.
