In principle, the QREC internship may be taken in the year in which the QREC certificate of completion<\/a> becomes available (e.g., if two credits of elective courses and the QREC internship later in the year satisfy the requirements for the certificate of completion). 1. Time required for research<\/th> The research must be conducted for a minimum of two weeks, working eight hours per day (including one hour break). In case of part-time or less than 2 weeks due to unavoidable circumstances, it will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In the case of overseas, it may be more than one month.<\/td><\/tr> 2. Expenses and compensation<\/th> No compensation in principle<\/td><\/tr> 3. Securing a host company<\/th> In principle, students are responsible for finding a host company on their own and obtaining approval from the faculty member in charge. The faculty member in charge will provide guidance, advice, and support as appropriate.<\/td><\/tr> 4. Others<\/th> Application Requirements: For overseas internships, applicants must meet the TOEFL IBT standard.
English proficiency required for overseas internship: TOEFL IBT 70, TOEIC 650; exceptions may be made.
Duration: Minimum of 2 weeks in Japan and 1 month overseas.
