The program supports the acquisition of a PoC (Proof of Concept: verification of a project before it enters prototype development) in a short period of 7 weeks. Furthermore, for teams that wish to continue their projects after the program is over, we will support them in connecting to Kyushu University\u2019s GAP Fund*\u00b9, obtaining other public funds, and obtaining external funding as the next step in their social implementation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-date-font-size\">*\u00b9The fund will encourage the creation of university-launched ventures by providing universities with relatively small amounts of funds for prototype development and other activities to bridge the gap between technology and commercialization.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-date-font-size\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-red-color\">*This program was implemented as the \u201cAcceleration Program\u201d until Summer 2025 (QSAP03), but its name was changed to \u201cTech Bootcamp\u201d starting Spring 2026 (<strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-red-color\">TechBC<\/mark><\/strong>).<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>*This program has been operated since fiscal year 2023 thanks to a donation from Mr. Shuhei Morofuji.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-with-margin\" id=\"application\">Eligibility for Application<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Teams of 2-4 members led by a graduate student or post-doctoral researcher from Kyushu University (undergraduate students may also participate as team members).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teams with technical ideas that want to tackle real-world implementation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A team that can commit to and participate in an 7-week program that includes a total of 7 in-person sessions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-with-margin\">If adopted<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Support by a companion mentor.<\/strong>Providing weekly online mentoring and other companionship support by experienced mentors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spot assistance from <a href=\"https:\/\/qrec.kyushu-u.ac.jp\/en\/meet\/tec\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">the QREC Mentor Community<\/a>.<\/strong> \uff08Spot assistance provided by experts in (customer, technical, business, IP, team, and fundraising)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Incentive payment.<\/strong>Up to 300,000 yen per team will be provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is-style-asterisk-red\">Since the incentive is considered as income, eligible applicants are required to confirm and file their own tax returns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Offers a workshop and community space.<\/strong>Provides a workshop for MVP production and a community space for 24-hour work and meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Next Steps Connection Support.<\/strong>Support for connection to public support such as Kyushu University&#8217;s GAP Fund, Fukuoka Unexplored, IPA Unexplored*\u00b2, NEDO&#8217;s NEP*\u00b3, and other private sector support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"has-date-font-size\">*\u00b2The Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA), is implementing the &#8220;Unexplored IT Human Resources Discovery and Development Project&#8221;.<br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipa.go.jp\/jinzai\/mitou\/it\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">https:\/\/www.ipa.go.jp\/jinzai\/mitou\/it\/index.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-date-font-size\">*\u00b3The New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) is implementing the &#8220;Project to Discover Talent and Foster Entrepreneurship in the Deep Tech Field \/ Project to Discover Talent and Foster Entrepreneurship in the Deep Tech Field.<br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nedo.go.jp\/koubo\/CA2_100449.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">https:\/\/www.nedo.go.jp\/koubo\/CA2_100449.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-with-margin\" id=\"schedule\">TechBC04 Schedule<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-date-font-size\">*Please note that the schedule below is subject to change.
