For those who wish to donate to QREC
QREC accepts donations from corporations and individuals to cover the costs of the following two programs, which are supported by a large number of donors.
Donations will be used in accordance with the purpose of the donation based on the University’s regulations and other rules, after the donors agree with the purpose and initiatives of each project.
About the Kyushu University Foundation’s “Student Initiative Programs (commonly known as S.I.P.)” Program
The Student Initiative Program (hereinafter referred to as S.I.P.) supports students’ independent entrepreneurial endeavors by helping them turn their ideas—inspired by their own awareness of social issues or challenges—into reality. QREC provides students with opportunities to apply the knowledge they have gained in their respective departments and schools to bring their ideas to life in a more practical setting.
Fund Overview
Students selected for the S.I.P. program will receive the following support. Your donations will be used to cover the operational costs of this program.
- Up to ¥100,000 to ¥500,000 per case (varies by project)
- Access to QREC’s facilities and workshops for meetings with team members, work, etc.
- Mentoring from QREC faculty
- Opportunities to interact with students from different faculties and departments
- Advice from external judges (VCs, entrepreneurs, etc.), etc.

Deduction for Donations
Donations to this fund qualify for tax deductions, including both standard income deductions and tax credits that provide greater savings for small donations.

Kyushu University Fund “Next Generation Entrepreneurship Development Fund” Project.
This program supports the promotion of advanced and systematic education to foster the next generation of entrepreneurs.
We provide entrepreneurship-related education to the entire university, which is necessary to nurture leaders who actively take on the challenge of creating new value in all areas of society.
Fund Overview
QREC educational programs are systematized in such a way that students can gain more practical experience with the knowledge they have learned by stepping up from basic to applied to practical. In this fund, QREC will mainly use the program to enhance practical programs where students learn how to realize ideas and technologies as tangible values in the real world.
■Programs that involve overseas dispatch
- Travel expenses
- Local Accommodation Fee
- Expenses related to collaboration with overseas universities
- Outsourcing



■Practical classes incorporating problem-solving learning
- Invitation fees for guest speakers, such as experts and entrepreneurs, and some outsourcing fees
