Entrepreneurship Bootcamp

Summary
“Entrepreneurship Bootcamp” provides an opportunity to learn about the startup founding process, from team formation to establishing the initial business idea, through an intensive 8-day program held in Boston, USA. Participants will gain hands-on experience in entrepreneurship through pre-program training and on-site programs. Participants attend workshops led by leading entrepreneurs, investors, and other professionals from domestic and international companies, and work in teams to create and present their own business plans and prototypes. After the pre-departure training in Fukuoka, the participants will go to Boston, U.S. for a series of 8-day programs to learn world-class entrepreneurship through start-up business practices and presentation of the results.

Eligibility for Application
・Attendance at a briefing session is a prerequisite for registration.
・This is a senior-year course, so the target grade is sophomore or above in the undergraduate school.
・Registration for the QREC course “Global Seminar (undergraduate students) / Advanced Lecture in Global Seminar (graduate students)” is required for this course.
One of the following conditions must be met
- Have been selected for a QREC project
- Have taken at least two QREC courses
- Have been selected for an external program (business plan contest, MITOU project, etc.)

About Application
- This course and information session will be conducted in English.
- Number of applicants: about 15 (application screening and interview will be conducted)
- This program includes participation in both the 8-day domestic program and the Boston training program.
- All expenses for travel, lodging, food, and local stay are to be borne by the student.
- By applying for scholarships handled by Kyushu University, you may be eligible for assistance under certain conditions. (For details, please see the information session.)
