You will explore what “entrepreneurship” means and what it entails to act with an entrepreneurial mindset. While reflecting on your own values and behavioral tendencies to discover your unique identity, we will work together to consider how you can best express your entrepreneurial spirit in a way that is true to yourself. This course is offered in the spring and fall semesters.

In this exercise, you’ll use everyday materials to generate a wide range of ideas through free-thinking, and then use a convergence technique to select the best idea. By taking this class, you’ll learn to set aside preconceptions and develop the ability to see the essence of things and broaden your perspective. You’ll also acquire skills to maximize teamwork.

technology marketing game
In this course, you will take on the role of a member of the marketing department and sell products in a virtual world using the business simulation game “MarkStrat.” You will experience firsthand how market perceptions of your products change depending on your strategy. During the game, you will present your team’s strategy, and after the game concludes, you will engage in a debriefing and mutual evaluation within your team to gain practical experience in marketing and business management skills. Idea Challenge
This project helps students turn their ideas into valuable, tangible concepts. We’ll evaluate your idea based on a 60-second pitch. If selected, you’ll receive a 100,000-yen grant and, over the course of about three months, refine your idea into a more realistic plan with the help of mentors who can offer guidance during research, analysis, and when you’re stuck. This is your chance to test your idea in the real world.

In addition to the student participants, we will establish a steering committee (Uncari Committee). These sessions will be organized primarily by the Uncari Committee members, who will plan the lectures, set the themes, and select guest speakers from a student perspective. By hearing from professionals at the forefront of their respective fields, students will have the opportunity to broaden their career horizons and expand their range of options. You are welcome to participate either as a student attendee or as a student committee member.
