Change&Creation(C&C)
Let’s create a wind of challenge and creativity from our campus!

Summary
A university-wide project that provides funding to support students’ ideas and research over the course of a year
Change & Creation (C&C) is a university-wide initiative that provides funding and implementation support for unique research and survey projects planned by graduate and undergraduate students enrolled at Kyushu University. Launched in 1997, it has since become a flagship project that exemplifies the university’s distinctiveness.
Students aiming to create new value that addresses social issues and drives social change present their innovative ideas; teams selected following evaluation by QREC faculty and external judges will work on their projects for approximately one year.
We are seeking creative, innovative, and unique projects that reflect the perspective of students. All majors are welcome.
The selected teams will undergo an evaluation at a results presentation approximately one year later, at which time the winning teams will be determined, and the President will present awards to the outstanding teams.
This project is being carried out with the support of the Kyushu University Foundation.
*This program was previously known as “Challenge & Creation” until 2025, but its name was changed to “Change & Creation” starting in fiscal year 2026.
