Announcement of PARKS Event

We are pleased to announce the PARKS event.
The theme of this event is “Non-Profit & Deep Tech Startup” and Mr. Takaaki Umada (Director of FoundX, The University of Tokyo) will be speaking at the event based on his own experiences and knowledge.

Outline of the event

Date: Tuesday, July 15, 2025, 18:30-20:00

Format: Online

Lecture: Mr. Umada’s experience and knowledge of “Non-Profit &Deep Tech Startups” will be the focus of the lecture.

Speaker: Mr. Takaaki Umada (Director, FoundX, The University of Tokyo)

Target: Undergraduate and graduate students (faculty and staff are also welcome to attend)

What is PARKS?

It is a platform established with the aim of continuously creating ventures that are customer-oriented and capable of realizing industry changes that should be located in the Kyushu-Okinawa region, which is the window to Asia.

With Fukuoka City and Kitakyushu City selected as model cities for the startup ecosystem, and in close collaboration with the Kyushu University Venture Promotion Council, PARKS will implement a comprehensive approach from entrepreneurship education to entrepreneurship support, with the goal of establishing PARKS Inter-University by the end of FY2026.
