FY2025 Idea Battle (IB) 1st Adopters Chosen
A total of 30 ideas were submitted for the 1st Idea Battle (IB) in 2025, and 21 ideas were selected after a screening session held on Sunday, May 25.
The purpose of this program is to take the creative ideas that students have been warming up to as a starting point, increase their feasibility through preliminary research and advice from mentors, and develop them into concrete projects. The survey period is approximately 3 months, during which time the adopted students will refine their business plans and build a team structure for implementation. Ultimately, they will present their plans at the results reporting meeting in August, which we hope will be used as a starting point for delivering their own ideas to society.
This year, in response to the large number of applications received, more than in previous years, we have expanded the number of grants awarded to encourage more projects to take up the challenge. In addition, two types of grant amounts, 100,000 yen and 30,000 yen, have been established according to the nature of the project, providing support according to the characteristics of each idea.
*The difference in grant amounts is based on the scale and characteristics required to realize the project and does not imply superiority in evaluation.
We hope that through the development of future projects, the adopters will face their own ideas and take them to the next stage.
