Global Challenge & Creation 8/8(Fri.) Results Debriefing

Global Challenge & Creation (G.C&C ) is a program that aims to hone the international perspective and execution skills of Kyushu University students by challenging them to international business and project contests and competing on a global standard.

This year, we adopted and supported the “Robocup 2025 Salvador” team, which participated in the world RoboCup Junior Soccer Open League (held in Brazil), working on the creation of an autonomous soccer robot. This was a valuable opportunity for the team to compete against teams from around the world.

The results of this competition were discussed after the Idea Battle (IB) results briefing, which was held on Friday, August 8, 2025, and the project’s results briefing was held on the same day.
IB adopters also participated, listening intently to the world competition and the insights and challenges they gained in the field.

In their reports, the participants frankly shared that they were overwhelmed by the advanced technology and maintenance systems of the foreign teams, and that they were outmatched in the games. In response, the teachers asked many questions and offered advice on team innovations and technical improvements, providing an opportunity to gain suggestions that can be applied to future activities.

Global Challenge & Creation (G.C&C ) contestants may apply up to one month before the deadline of the contest in which they wish to participate.
Individual judging by QREC is conducted on an as-needed basis based on the application documents, and we are still accepting applications for this year’s contest.

We look forward to your challenge.
