Application Guidelines
Activities required
- Verbalize your awareness of your problem and define the social issue you want to solve.
- Devise solutions to problems with broad and free thinking, without being bound by trends or existing frameworks
- Repeatedly test hypotheses (i.e., take action) on the solutions we devise, ultimately aiming for social implementation through commercialization.
- Engage in dialogue with a diverse range of people, including the mentors of the Kyuusoukai, to ensure the continuity of activities while gaining their endorsement and concrete cooperation.
- In the activities of the Fund, when taking new initiatives that are not bound by existing frameworks, we must allow for mistakes that can be reversed, even if they appear to be a change of direction or a return to the drawing board, and recognize them as a step forward when viewed from a bird’s eye view.

Kyuusoukai Fellowship
While providing scholarships that give students the freedom to work on ways to solve social problems that need to be solved, the Kyuusoukai also organizes the Kyuusoukai Fellowship. The Kyuusoukai Fellowship is an alumni association of Kyuusoukai Fellows. It connects fellows beyond the time of their adoption and helps them connect with the necessary contacts and resources in Japan and abroad through mentors and university networks.
It is a badge of honor for the Fellows to be a member of the Kyuusoukai Fellowship, which recognizes essential and major social issues and persistently seeks solutions to social problems using business forms with a constructive and critical spirit, without being distracted by easy ideas or fads.
