2022年度 Entrepreneurship Bootcamp ボストン研修
概要/ Outline
この研修では、先進的なスタートアップエコシステムを形成しているボストンに訪れて、現地のスタートアップ関係者やバブソン大学の教員・学生達と自分達のビジネスプランについて議論したり、ボストンのスタートアップエコシステムの様子を学びました。また、ボストンのCambridge Innovation Center (CIC)で、スタートアップ関係者の前で自分達のビジネスプランのピッチを行いました。
During this training program, the participating students visited Boston, where a pioneering startup ecosystem has been established, to have discussions with local startup entrepreneurs and Babson College faculty members and students, and to learn about the startup ecosystem in Boston. The participants also delivered pitches for their business plans to startup entrepreneurs at the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) in Boston.
目的/ Objective
研修の目的は、ボストンのスタートアップの仕組みに触れることで、学生のスタートアップへの興味・関心を高める事にあります。現地の人達との議論やピッチを通じて、ボストンのスタートアップエコシステムを体感してもらう事を意識しています。
The objective of this training program is to enable students to increase their own interest in startups by learning about the startup mechanisms in Boston. The focus is placed on allowing them to have first-hand experience of Boston’s startup ecosystem by having discussions with local people and actually delivering pitches to them.
プログラム実施内容
Day1：2/23 (Thu)
午後に日本を出発し、ボストンに夕方到着しました。
CIC Cambridgeを訪れ、最終プレゼンテーションをする場所を確認、ピッチイベントを見学しました。
The students left Japan in the afternoon and arrived at Boston in the evening.
They checked the place, CIC Cambridge where the students will have their final pitch. They also observed a pitch event.
Day2：2/24 (Fri)
MIT Martin Trust Centerを訪れ、MITで学ぶ日本人学生とディスカッションし、Martin Trust Centerの方の前でピッチの練習もしました。
午後は Harvard Business School（HBS）を訪れました。HBSの九州大学の先輩が、学校生活やHBSへの進学の仕方についてセッションを行い、学生はグループに分かれ、HBSの日本人学生5人とHBSについてディスカッションしました。
The students visited MIT Martin Trust Center and had discussion with Japanese Students studying at MIT. They also practiced their pitches in front of people from Trust Center.
In the afternoon, the students visited Harvard Business School.
Kyushu University Senior at Harvard Business School did a session about life at Harvard and how to get in. The students were divided into groups and they did discussions about HBS with 5 students of Japanese connections at HBS.
Day3：2/25 (Sat)
プロトタイピングについて講義を受け、ビジネスプランをアップデートさせました。
各チームは、 ビジネスプランに関連するインタビュー調査をボストン市内で行いました。
The students had a lecture on prototyping and updated on the work they had done.
Each team did their interviews related to their business plans in Boston.
Day4：2/26(Sun)
Harvard Business Schoolの31st Annual Tech Conferenceに参加し、フロンティアテクノロジーに関するパネルディスカッションに加わり、ネットワーク作りなど交流を図りました。
The students attended HBS 31st Annual Tech Conference and participated in panels on frontier technologies. They also promoted networking and other exchanges.
Day5：2/27(Mon)
Babson大学の日本人学生からビジネスプランのフィードバックを受けました。また、Babson大学生と交流会をし、講義を聴講しました。
Babson大学を見学し、Babson大学の日本人学生と交流しました。
The students got feedback of their businessplan from Japanese students at Babson College . They exchanged their ideas with Babson Students and attended the lecture.
They toured Babson College and interacted with Japanese students of Babson College in the evening.
Day6：2/28(Tue)
District Hall のInnovation Studio を見学し、講義を聴講しました。ライフサイエンス、ロボット、ゲーム産業のバックグラウンドを持つ人々やベンチャーキャピタルによるパネルディスカッションに参加しました。
宿泊先のホテル会議室で先生方とチーム毎にピッチ内容をブラッシュアップさせました。
The students toured Innovation Studio at District Hall, and attended the lecture. They attended panel discussion from people of background in life sciences, robotics, gaming industry and venture capital.
In the evening, they brushed up pitches of teams with professors at the hotel conference room.
Day7：3/1(Wed)
KYULUX ボストン支社の方がホテル会議室を訪問し、ボストンでのスタートアップ現状について説明してくださいました。
Babson大学での講義に参加し、ピッチを見学しました。Stata Center MITでMIT Pitch2Matchに参加し、ビジネスアイデアについてピッチをしました。
KYULUX Boston office visited the hotel conference room and explained the current startup situation in Boston to the students.
The students attended Lecture at Babson College, and listened to pitches. They went to Stata Center MIT for MIT Pitch2Match where the students pitched their business ideas.
Day8：3/2 (Thu)
CIC Cambridgeを見学しました。
その後、そこで行われる最終プレゼンテーションの準備をし、審査員や聴衆の前でアイデアをピッチしました。
The students had a tour of CIC Cambridge.
They prepared for Pitches at CIC Cambridge and then pitched their ideas in front of judges and audience.
Day9：3/3(Fri)
ホテル会議室で先生方から講義を受け、Bootcampを通して学んだことを振り返りました。
午後、ボストン美術館を見学しました。
At the hotel conference room, the students received lectures from their professors and did reflections of their time at Bootcamp.
In the afternoon, they visited Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

The students left Boston in the afternoon.

夜、福岡空港に到着。
They arrived at Fukuoka Airport at night.
